About RigSorted
What this site covers, how each guide is put together, and what it will not do.
RigSorted explains the systems that live inside an RV: fresh water, waste tanks, winterizing, 12-volt and 120-volt power, propane appliances, the roof, slides and awnings, and the schedules that keep them working. It is written for owners who would rather understand the problem in front of them than guess at it.
Towing, engines, chassis and buying advice are a different job and are left to other sources.
How a guide gets made
- Start from the real question. Each page begins with what owners actually search for and ask about that problem, so the page answers the situation, not a keyword.
- Build from primary sources. Manufacturer manuals, spec sheets and published guidance come first. Figures are checked against those sources, and the main sources are named at the end of each guide.
- Draft, then check. AI helps with the drafting. Each guide is checked against those sources before it goes up, and the illustrations show typical setups, not a specific rig.
- Fix what turns out wrong. When a reader points out an error, the page is corrected and its date changes.
What you will not find here
- Invented experts or made-up personal stories. Guides are signed by the RigSorted team, not by an invented name.
- Product rankings or paid placements. Brands are named only when a manual or spec is the source of a fact.
- Advice to keep going when a job turns dangerous. Propane leaks, 120-volt wiring and sealed refrigerant systems are where the guides say stop and call a qualified technician.
