Terms of use

The rules for using this site and the limits of what a guide can promise.

Last updated October 2026

In short

The guides are general information. Your RV, its manuals and local codes come first, and work on propane and 120-volt systems carries real risk.

Information, not a service

RigSorted publishes general information about RV systems. It is not a repair service, an inspection, or professional advice for your specific rig. Models differ, and the manufacturer's manual and labels for your equipment take priority over anything here.

Your responsibility

You decide whether to do any work yourself. Shut off power and gas before working on a system, use the right tools and protective gear, and follow local codes. Stop and call a qualified technician whenever a guide says so, or whenever you are not sure.

Accuracy

We check figures against manufacturer sources and correct errors when we find them, but we cannot promise every page is complete, current or right for your situation. Typical values, such as appliance wattages in the load calculator, are estimates.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, RigSorted is not liable for damage, injury or loss that results from using the site or acting on its content.

Content and copying

The text, illustrations and tools on this site are published by RigSorted. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Copying whole guides or the tools is not allowed.

Changes

These terms may change as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to desk@rigsorted.com.
