Privacy policy
What this site collects, what it does not, and where your data goes, including what the load calculator keeps in your browser.
Last updated October 2026
We do not run analytics or advertising trackers and do not sell anything about you. The load calculator remembers your picks only inside your own browser. The hosting and security providers see standard technical data, like any website.
Information we collect
Email you send us. If you write to desk@rigsorted.com, we keep the message and your address to answer it and to fix the page if needed. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Technical data. Our web host and our security and delivery provider process standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver pages and block abuse. These logs are kept by those providers under their own policies.
Data stored in your browser
The load calculator saves the appliances you tick and the wattages you type in your browser's local storage, so they are still there when you come back. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Our security provider may set a short-lived technical cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic.
Analytics and advertising
There is no analytics or advertising on the site at the moment. If that changes, this page will be updated first, with what is collected and how to opt out.
Children
The site is written for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any email you sent by writing to desk@rigsorted.com.
