Winterizing
Get the water out of every line, trap and tank before it freezes: blow it out with air at no more than 35 to 40 psi, or pump pink RV antifreeze through, after draining the fresh tank and bypassing the water heater (how to winterize). Storage, winter camping and spring start-up (dewinterizing) are separate jobs, below.
Getting the water out before a freeze
Pick air or antifreeze, then work every low point.
Spring start-up
Flush, sanitize and pressure-check before the first trip.
